I am Der-Wei Huang, an Assistant Professor of Marketing at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. I received my Ph.D. from Indiana University.

Within the area of consumer behavior, I am interested in digital consumption and how interpersonal relationships influence consumer behavior. I have a forthcoming publication in the Journal of Consumer Research.

My research draws from relevant real world phenomena and attempts to develop consumer and marketing implications. In addition to lab and online experiments, I use an array of methods including field experiments, secondary data analysis, and text and image analyses in my work.
